Folks who started hyperventilating when YouTube purged its site of Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert clips over the weekend can set down their paper bags. Apparently, Viacom objected only to the presence of entire episodes of its shows on YouTube, but clips from its various networks (including Comedy Central, MTV and Nickelodeon) are totally Kool & the Gang.
Me, I didn’t stress too much, though, because mostly I use YouTube for old-school music videos (like this), movie trailers (ooh! A bad Bullock movie!), and random funny stuff that would be hard to find anywhere else.
Under that last heading, allow me to point you to Kelly’s latest masterpiece "Text-Message Breakup" (pictured). It’s not safe for work, but it’s profanely hilarious, and has introduced me to two new and glamorous catchphrases: "Get a clue! I’ll go Alanis Morissette on you!" and "Kelly’s f—in’ rad!" Plus, it’s got a Margaret Cho cameo. Not as clever, but nonetheless visually amusing, is the Tiny Weiner Band’s "Dressin’ Me Up," a video that simultaneously mocks folks who clothe their canines, while presenting image after ridiculous image of poodles, pugs, and other pooches in fetching human drag. FYI, it’s rated arf. (Sorry!)
A bad Bullock movie? That looks pretty interesting to me.

Holy cow, the new Kelly video is hilarious. I particularly enjoyed the new catchphrases, and Grandma offering whiskey to the underage.

Eh i liked “Shoes” so much better. I wish she had picked “Let Me Borrow That Top” to do a video for. That would’ve been hot. “Text Message Breakup” sounds too messy and its hard to understand what Kelly says at times.

I’m going to show my bad gay tendencies here in a moment. But first let me clarify, I can’t watch YouTube at work, and I don’t have internet at home, so how is the Kelly you are referring to? Kelly Clarkson? Cuz if so, girlfriend has hardly had a career long enough to warrant on a single named monikor. I’m just saying.
