I love thier cd “ST. ELSEWHERE” and loved them LIVE in concert. I really hope they get “GONE DADDY GONE” to be a hit, they CAN’T be a one hit wonder!!! They’re too awesomely rad!!! (YES I SAD RAD!!!)
Admittedly disappointed that they chose a merely serviceable, unnecessary cover for their second single, but regardless, I’m behind the Barkley all the way! It helps that the video didn’t bug me at all.
Ouch. Sorry.
MC Pee Pants! Totally!
This song is ruined by being associated with Dane Cook in the Employee of the Month ads. Also, i think its a poor choice of single.
Their CD let me down a bit, but I’ve said that before.
This reminds me of how, after watching Honey I Shrunk the Kids, I didn’t want to step on any ants. Now I don’t want to step on any bugs. But, if it’s like that time with the ants, it will last for like 2 days.
hmm…i actually didn’t like it that much. It kind of reminded me of Crazt Frog, and why did they pick such a weak song? I’d love to see a video for Transformer…now that would be cool.
yeah to be honest, I dislike this video. Just because it has animation and quirky images does not make it a great video. stuff like “got til its gone” by Janet Jackson, which is incredibly artful, make better videos than animation and crazy costumes.
Not the song I would’ve picked for a single, but that awesomely insane video makes up for it!
Whatever happened to “Smiley Faces?” They did a video for that, and it never seems to have caught on. Which is a shame, because that’s a great song!
Have not seen the video but have the album; “Gone Daddy Gone” is a stellar choice for second single. i remember hearing it for the first time -I was in my car – and just about needed to pull to the side of the road I was bouncing so much.
Gnarls Barkley deserve another radio hit, and this should definitely do the trick.

Good video but really waiting for Just A Thought, that song is heartbreaking and beautiful.
Violent Femmes Comeback? Will someone remake Kiss Off? Please someone do it!!!

I didn’t realize the Violent Femmes changed their name to Gnarls Barkley. And when did Gordan Gano become british, 400 lbs. and black?
