If you’re the kind of person who likes living in a spoiler-free cocoon, then now would be the time to cover your ears and make some noise. For the rest of you, try to tune out those ”la-la-la-la-la-la-las” coming from the other side of the room, and check out the latest crumbs of info coming off the sets of Lost and Desperate Housewives, after the jump.
According to an ABC announcement describing episode 2 of Lost‘sthird season, Ian Somerhalder’s Boone makes a return appearance, despite the fact that he’s a little bit dead, as is his stepsisterShannon. The folks at Zap2It surmisethis means he figures in another castaway’s pre-island past, but isn’tit just as likely Boone could pop up in someone’s post-plane-crashflashback, or even a dream sequence?
Meanwhile, Felicity Huffman won’t be the only recent Oscar nomineeon Wisteria Lane. Kathleen York, who scored a Best Song nomination for composing ”In the Deep” (from Crash) last year, is joining the Housewives castas a mysterious redhead (aren’t they all, at least on TV?), while thereal husband-wife team of Matt Roth and Laurie Metcalf have also inkeddeals with the Sunday night sudser. Not much news on the latter’s role, but I can see Metcalf as a zany Avon lady with a kleptomaniacal streak.Any other ideas for how to utilize the fab Roseanne alumna?

Am I the only person in the world who doesn’t care about these shows?
For those of you who want more complete and cool spoilers for Lost and Desperate Housewives, you should visit SpoilerFix.com. That site gives spoilers for tons of tv series and are really accurate.
To Lora: You are one of the few, but that’s ok… Anyway, I read somewhere that Boone shows up in Locke’s dream and compels him to search for another station or something, and that Locke kinda gets his groove back. Who knows if this is true, but would be pretty cool.
Well, Lora, why did you read this?
I’m not trying to be mean, but if you don’t care about these shows, why take the time to click on the link to get the spoilers, read the spoilers, and then type out a message saying you don’t care about them. If you’re trying to say they’re not good shows and that not as many people should like them, that’s not very nice. I for one love Lost and think it is brilliant. Desperate Housewives isn’t my cup of tea, but lots of people love it. Whatever floats your boat.
I didn’t read the spoilers. I was just curious if I was alone in the world…obviously I am.
Lora, if you don’t care, why did you click on the link for this article. Do you not have a life other than posting on articles about shows you don’t even care about?
Why are you guys picking on Lora? All she said she didn’t care about the shows anymore. She wasn’t trying to be mean and nasty, just sarcastic and opinionated. I love Lost and DH but I can understand her point of view considering those shows went all sucky in their second season. Just her leave alone. She’s cool.
I gotta say that both shows lost a grip o’ mojo in their respective second seasons. I have been a fan and tout-er of both since the beginning, but I’m gonna need them to focus somethin’ fierce in order to keep me watching. My hopes are highest at this point for “Housewives”, what with the creator back on board full steam, and adding Ms. Metcalf to the cast. Consider these fingers crossed!
forget dream sequence – what about hallucinations? (that is, Locke seeing more of a bloodied Boone). If it’s not a pre-island flashback, then that gets my bet.
i don’t care, and i want everybody to know it!!!!
/sarcasm
I dont get why people who don’t like shows/movies/etc take the time to complain about them.
Regardless: I’m excited for the third season of DH. I’ll only give it a few episodes this season though, if it sucks, I’m out!
Lorenzo, did you even watch Lost last season? How can you say it sucked? It was brilliant, and I thought even better than the first in some ways. And could people give Desperate Housewives a break? Yes, creatively, it had some setbacks last season. But the last few episodes (save the pointless Applewhite storyline) were great! I, for one, I am really looking forward to both shows this season. And if Boone pops up in a flashback on Lost, preferably without a shirt, then that’s even better!
The mystery redhead must have a connection with Tom, because I am telling you that the woman that lynette was introduced to is NOT the same woman that she saw in the window when she spied on Tom.
30 year old love-child? The woman was the mother of the love-child…

Matt Roth played Art Shepard in season 3, Lynette’s old neighbor who was accused of pedophilia by her….
