it’s about damn time
It’s about freakin’ time!
You go Whitney, I’m going to start lining up at my local Best Buy for your new COMEBACK album with Clive Davis!
aaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
This only proves that crack is not the foundation of a solid marriage (Whitney was foreshadowing when she said crack is wack). Boy, if these two crazy kids can’t make it, there’s just no hope for the rest of us. Stay strong, Bobbi Kristina.
BTW, Rahul, I love the idea of him dating being a TV show. Maybe there could be some kind of cross over with Flavor of Love. Flava Flav!
I want to be happy and I guess I am but for so long people have blamed Whitney’s downward spiral on Bobby but I just don’t buy it. I definitely agree he didn’t help, but I think her image and her actual personality are almost polar opposites and we never saw the real Whitney that must’ve been somewhat compatible with the bad boy and stayed with him for 15 years. I would love it if she left the substances alone and took care of her voice and came back strong but I’ve always thought that much like Michael Jackson her biggest enemy is herself. They both have let their egomaniacal stubborness alter their ability to listen to reason and have suffered greatly because of it. I didn’t mean to get so serious but it hurts me because I loved Whitney so much years ago. Bobby having a Flavor of Love style show might just be the funniest thing ever btw.
I agree that she partly has herself to blame for her problems but getting rid of one of her problems is the first step to admitting that she has a issues to sort out.
Her comeback song will be a duet with Bobby: “Hit the road jack!!”
I don’t buy that Bobby was the cause of her problems either. First of all she admitted that she started using drugs long before she met him. Second, her career actually peaked after they got together. The downward spiral didn’t start until much later. Third, Whitney has always had an attitude problem that tended to rub a lot of people the wrong way. I don’t know that I know of anyone who’s ever really liked her. Her music, yes, but not her.
Now she is free to pursue Osama!
Tell me, do celebrity couples break up because they opened their lives to a reality show and realized how ridiculous they look, or do they have troubled relationships in the first place and hope that a show will either exploit the conflict or bring them closer together? Between the Lacheys, the Barkers, the Navarros, and now the Browns, I’d have to say that there is a sociological experiment in there somewhere.
Wow! It took her 14 years to realise….that she wasn’t good enough for him!
BG 17, what about the Osbornes? Bad as folks looked, I thought they were the freakiest of all, and they’ve been together 4 ever!
When you are married you will have problems, it is just the way it is. The trick is to try to work the problems out. If you are in the eyes of the camera it is true that the problems will double times two. Whitney came from a long line of singers in her family (Cissi, Thelma, and Dionne) so she had pressure because she had to live up to the family name. Bobbys antics, and arrests added fuel to the fire. She might not been emotionally stable, who knows. However, I am sure that Clive and her family will put her back on track.
