I am outraged — yes, outraged – that Former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay is calling on his supporters to throw their votes behind GOP favorite Sara Evans in the upcoming season of ABC’s Dancing With the Stars as a way to "send a message to Hollywood and the media" that "ultra liberal talk show host Jerry Springer" has no place on TV. Say wha? I mean, can you believe DeLay would tackle this matter of national importance without addressing the tense Joey Lawrence-Mario Lopez race (pictured)? Will DeLay call a fillibuster to debate whether or not Vivica is actually A. Fox? And what about the social and economic implications of Moaklergate? Somebody needs to get his brain back on issues of fiscal responsibility. Or something. Don’tcha think?

How embarrassing!To tie politics into the inane innocence of this show is so misguided it is horrifying! Nice priorities, Mr. DeLay. This should go in the Freedom Fry Hall of Shame. More than Suri on the Nightly News, THIS is the proof of the dumbing down of America. Politics as bully-style popularity contest. I’d hang my head in shame if I weren’t so transfixed by the waxed eyebrow/shaved head combo on Mr. Lawrence. Now THAT’S worthy of my vote! Whoa,indeed!!

Wow, and this guy was the MAJORITY LEADER of the House of Representatives. I think Congress should give themselves another raise, not only because they are doing such a great job, but because they are focusing on the real issues, like ridding America of liberal, fox-trotting terrorists like Jerry Springer. I’m glad my tax money isn’t going to waste!!!

So what if Mario Lopez looks a little gay? Many male dancers do, especially in such outfits — but is that because they really do, or because of stereotypes enforced by viewers like you?? Appearances shouldn’t matter, including that of Joey’s bald head.
The topic on hand though is very infuriating. I would think with as much as politicians get paid and all the important issues facing the nation, they wouldn’t have time to be concerned with the media. But hey, when they keep passing on opportunities like increasing the minimum wage and continue to gather their wealth while the rest of the nation suffers high gas prices, increasing education costs, and other rising costs like health care, I guess you can focus on whatever the hell you want.
Mario Lopez gets yummier with age! That picture will go great with his “gay” character that he’s going to play on Nip/Tuck – watch for boodie shot!

Oh! I see, dancing with the stars deserves more attention then….lets see…….rising health care costs, Katrina, the insulting gas prices, and the “so called” war on terrorism and so on and so forth?
