Lara Logan is super hot. That is all.
I will never watch Couric read the news. It doesn’t surprise me that her main attention-getter was the Cruise baby–she is an entertainment reporter and not a very good one. And as far as Mr. Bush is concerned–she has always been a big fan of the Bushes. Anybody remember when Bush Sr. “accidentally” walked in on her interview with Mrs. Bush and Couric blushed and blathered like a school girl? CBS should have stuck with the class act that they had.
The baby is precious. She looks like her MOTHER, thank heaven!
And,”dma69″, everyone knows cats don’t give hugs. They are WAY too cool for that mushy stuff!
The Suri Cruise photos did seriously undermine Couric’s credibility as a journalist. It was a fine story, and is a good little kicker to the newscast, but not the greatest thing on her first day when she’s trying to prove herself as a real nightly news anchor. And tonight there were too many fluff stories, too. As my journalism instructor said today, “You can tell where the CBS Evening News is going.” I have no doubt Katie Couric is a very intellegent and capable newswoman, but it’s all about perception. I think most of the viewers see her as little Miss Susy Soft-news, and the Suri Cruise photos just helped that perception along!
Didn’t anyone notice the work that Katie had done? She receives the Edward R. Murrow award for the best face lift.
And was that baby’s hair freakish or what?
The premiere Katie Couric newscast reminded me of the first half-hour segment of “Today.” She even sat at a similar desk and did an in-studio interview with New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman. And the Lara Logan report was more like a “60 Minutes” piece.
Katie will do fine, but she needs to focus on news content instead of worrying about a cutesy sign off!
What a beautiful baby. Forget Katie “NOT” Current! Congratulations Mr.& Mrs.Tommy Cruise.
Damn, there’s some ignorant people writing in. Don’t you know that you NEVER say nasty things about babies. Stuff like that comes back on you. For all of you that said that beautiful baby should have been kept in hiding, I wish nothing but the worse you idiot!!!!!!!!!
