We are experiencing technical difficulties. Please stand by.

We suspect many of you are doing your best Valerie Cherish impersonations right about now, sitting in front of your computers and huffing, ”I need to know that I am being heard.” But fret not, folks, just because our ”PopWatch Comments Counter Thingy™” isn’t working doesn’t mean your much-appreciated rants, observations, haikus, and witticisms aren’t being published. Hopefully, we’ll get the disheartening snafu fixed before the day ends, but in the meantime, don’t let all the ”Comments (0)” signs fool you.

Slezak! you and your constant Valerie Cherish references caused me to go out and buy The Comeback DVD. I didn’t like it the couple of times I saw it on HBO, but I am going to give her another chance. There must be something to it if you liked it so much…

    Slezak! Keep Val Cherish alive!
I thought it was a slow day for topics, didn’t surprise me that nobody was commenting.

Michael-I am in my acceptance phase of Everwood. Kiss it goodbye. See ya. But, you can’t stop mentioning The Comeback, daily.
Let this be a lesson about liking too many quirky shows at once.
I thought the hundreds Clay Aiken posts blew out the blog. I hope you got paid by the post on that one.

The Comeback gets really good at the Palm Springs episode, it really starts to chip away at Val’s conciousness.
On the DVD, watch the commentaries in the extras section, Valarie Cherish does one commentary and it’s halarious!

I think after the Emmys, or at least by the end of the year, Valerie Cherish will need a rest. Supporting a beloved show by quoting it often is all cool and stuff, but you do it too often for too long, and you no longer look like “pop watch” but “faded trends watch”

Spent the past weekend watching THE COMEBACK on DVD. I’m not sure how I feel about the show as a whole, but I absolutely loved Lisa Kudrow’s portrayal of Valerie Cherish. She so clearly deserves an Emmy for her performance. It is the boldest, most fearless work I’ve seen on television in years.
