I feel bad for Daniel Baldwin. Not just because of his most recent troubles, but because he’s the Baldwin brother with the weakest brand identity. You know, Alec is the Talented One, William is the Slickly Handsome One, Stephen is the Goofy One, and Daniel is… uh, you know, the one who was on Homicide for a couple seasons a decade ago. I’m not sure being cast in an imaginary-movie-within-a-TV-show is going to help much, but even a minor role on The Sopranos is sure to get Daniel B. more positive press than anything he’s done in years. Besides, aren’t you curious to see how Christopher’s Saw-meets-Godfather II Mob-sploitation movie turns out?

My Favorite Baldwins aren’t related to Alec and Stephen. The ORIGINAL Baldwin was my main man ADAM Baldwin. This Chicago native is known for his work on Firefly as Jayne Cobb. He was awesome as Animal Mother in “Full Metal Jacket” and had a tip top debut in My Bodyguard, some 10 years before the other, not-related-to-Adam Baldwins became famous.
My other favorite Baldwin is Congresswoman Tammy Baldwin. She grew up in my hometown and we even graduated from the same highschool (though she beat me to the punch by some 20 years).

Stephen Baldwin is to be admired for having the guts to stand up for his belief in Jesus Christ, especially in Hollywood. He certainly isn’t a nutcase, rather a man strong man to admit he isn’t infallible but chooses to believe in the One who is. He is living a victorious life and what weakness can be found in that? The Bible says that in the end every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. Stephen Baldwin knows this to be true in the here and now.
