I’m assuming Justin will be performing his 2nd single as well, “MY LOVE” featuring rapper T.I. The video is being helmed next week, & I really don’t see JT performing “SexyBack” with all those vocoder/distortion effects LIVE….
Nice to see some of the nominations for Madonna, but since most people voting online will be KIDS, i.e. under 21, I really don’t see Madonna walking away with maybe more than 1 VMA, which will probably be for Best Dance Video….

Wrong, wrong, wrong MTV. I agree whole heartedly with maybe two of the picks for Video of the year. What is this the Emmy’s all over again? Oh and Happy Birthday!

Is MTV, must-less it’s “video award” show even relevant to music anymore? It now seems to be a spring board to cram “reality” stars down our throats.

MTV is now officially Media Television or Mindless Television, not music. There is more programing and less videos when it should be the other way around. With that said, GOD BLESS FUSE and VH1 Classic!

It’s back in New York, hopefully it will shake off that Puffy/Katrina stankness that infected it last year and the VMAs can once again be that award show you turn into for the best “what is she wearing,” “did he just do that” and “I know they did not just put them two together” moments. But, please MTV, film it live and not in that annoying “film-like” effect that makes your past award shows look flat…
