One last big 'Desperate Housewives' spoiler

151639__fhuffman02_l[WARNING: This really is a big spoiler, so skip this item if you don't want to read it.]

Yes, I know we linked to a bunch of season 3 Desperate Housewives spoilers yesterday, but this is a big one. From the Associated Press, via TV Guide, comes word from series creator Marc Cherry that a November storyline will involve a ”huge hostage situation in a supermarket,” that Lynette (Felicity Huffman, pictured) and several other primary characters will be present, that one character will be wounded, and that one lead will be killed. Am I a bad person for thinking, ”Please, please, let it be Susan”?

    God, I hope its Paul.

  • Brian

Hope its either Paul or Carlos

  • bridget

    I hope it’s everybody.
This show needs to be taken hostage in a supermarket.

  • greenplant

Call me bad as well because I flip the channel every time Susan comes on!

  • johnathan

Yes, you’re bad for hoping it’s susan. I like her.

  • Lorenzo

I betting $20 that it is Nicollette Sheridan….er, um, Edie Britt.

I’really siked for this new season. I think the show will get back on track. But I have a problem with this spoiler. When they say “lead” do they mean one of the four housewives (eva, felicity, terri, marcia)? Nicollete and the rest should be considered more supporting players.
I sincerely believe the show would not be able to go on if they lose one of the main four.
I would like to see Paul, Bree’ son, or Mike the Plummer bite the dust. I can’t stand them…

  • Ed

Gary, shooting Susan would be too nice!
I think it’s going to be Bree’s soon to be husband.

As much as I like Doug Savant’s character, I think Tom will die. He’s at home so he would likely be in the supermarket. Lynette will get the life insurance money and work less or not at all so she can stay at home and care for her kids. Then the mother of Tom’s daughter will want some of the money and because of back child support get most or all of it then Lynette will have to struggle being a working single mom.

Please let it be Susan. Please let it be Susan. And can Heather Locklear replace her? How awesome would it be to see her tangle with Nicolette.
I’m sorry to you Heather/Amanda Woodward fans, but she didn’t invent the workplace micro mini suits. Nicolette had those pegged back on Knotts Landing. I’d love to see the two of them duking it out. Heather could be an interior designer, or fellow real estate broker who clashes with Edie.

This is such a lie. The last time I saw a hostage situation was in the brilliant ONCE and AGAIN, and guess what, I never went back to the show after it. So if Marc Cherry is looking to commit a “Desperate” act of suicide. This will be the way to go.

Dear jesus YES let it be susan. I will cheer, I will cry happy tears. She is the worst most useless boring charecter on Tv surounded by outstanding ones. She brings the show to a screeching hault for me everytime she is on screen. I hope Mike gives her an STD or something. Her daughter though, Can stay.

  • Silvio

I would love for it to be Susan!!! That would be great.

  • Nia

Hey, if it works for ‘The Nine’…

  • Graeme

Gimme a break. It ain’t gonna be Susan. Newsflash: Teri Hatcher is the star of the show and the media sensation of the leads. She ain’t going anywhere.
I don’t know who it would be, but are we really gonna have another widowed housewife? Man, writers, there’s other ways to bring drama into a marriage without killing off the husband or have someone cheating.

  • Lauren

I hope it’s not Susan- I think she’s finally figuring things out in her life. I hope it’s Bree’s son because he is evil- Mike is too good looking to die! I dont think anyone would mind if Edie Britt dies…

  • Jyoti Kaija

Mike is too boring to live. I hate him and Susan and their boring, unrealistic annoying love fest. They hadn’t even gone on a real date before they tried to choke us with relationship in danger crapplots. Please let it be a murder suicide with the two of them being the casualties.

  • Nicole

I bet that Felicity Huffman is finally coming to her senses now that it is painfully obvious that she is far too talented for this sinking ship. At least I hope so.

  • Samantha

No, you’re not a bad person. Susan fails at life.

  • Stephanie Travitsky

It might be Paul, Xiao Mei, Bree’s soon to be husband, or Susans’s ex since he is really becoming an annoyance.

  • anthropos9

I so agree that Susan needs to die. She was funny at first, but now she’s just pathetic.

  • anthropos9

Oh, a big bonus to Susan dying would be a new dynamic of Julie living with her father and Eddy(sp?), that could be fun.

  • Ernesto

YOU ARE ONE SMART MAN FOR WISHING IT IS SUSAN, NOW LET´S PRAY FOR HER TO DISAPPEAR AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!!!!!!!!!!

  • Mike

I think Carlos will be the one to die. This will leave Gabby a single mom.

  • ayo

lynette can go, her schemes and manipulations became very tiresome this year and as crazy as tom’s baby mama seems i’m bored with them. i just hope its not bree; cannot wait for more of her war with matthew. i agree that susan’s really annoying but when she’s talking to julie, sparring with edie or battling paul i kinda like her. also hope to see more of mike’s demonseed kid, he’s great fun.

  • joanie

I hope to God they don’t kill off Lynette. Please, oh please, let it be Susan! She’s just so whiny and annoying… and I agree with the other poster who said she was completely pathetic. Even the actress herself is getting on my nerves these days. Just kill her off and put us all out of our misery!
