[WARNING: Mild 24 spoilers ahead.]
In this profile of Kiefer Sutherland from the U.K.’s Observer, the 24 star offers some hints about season 6 and the upcoming feature film. While he doesn’t reveal what happens to Jack Bauer after being kidnapped and taken on a slow boat to China in the season 5 finale, Sutherland did say of his character: ”We’ve had five years of him saving a large thing; this one’s much more about him saving his own ass. He’ll go from being the one who hunts people down to the one who’s being hunted, so that in itself turns the show around.” As for the movie, which will be shot between seasons 6 and 7, Sutherland says it won’t unfold in real time. No word on whether Jack will have to defend himself against any killer Christmas trees.

I can’t wait for the new season of “24″. With garbage like “Windfall” and “America’s Got Talent” on TV, “24″ is a shining light! Kudos to the Emmy voters for recognizing that.

I know we all have to wait until January, but thanks to DVDs and downloads from iTunes, we can all have ‘24′ whenever we want. I still love watching President Logan getting his due in the final episode (6AM-7AM). Watch at about 6:45 — the music, the way the scene is shot, it’s all just perfect.
First, Prison break’s Michael Scofield and buddies are on the run and now, it looks like Jack will be too. Strange coincidence, no?
