Good riddens to bad rubbish. Let her go back to law she sure wasn’t entertaining. She looks like she has been free basing on cocaine. Not sure what is bigger, those fake eyelashes or her mouth. I have no sympathy for her. Won’t be long before we hear about her husband leaving her.
Barbara Walters is a witch who was never comfortable with Star from day one, as Star is far superior to her in every way!!!! Barbara has SUCH a speech impediment, with that awful slur she speaks with, how did she ever make it in the world of TV?? No doubt her race and pocketbook!!!! I think Barbara has finally shown how evil and stupid she really is, she should retire from TV now anyway and give young, beautiful people a chance!!!! Rosie O’donnell is LARGELY harmless, but just talks too much instead of trying to spend time on improving her image and to learn to lead a good,natural way of living!!!!!
Grow up Star. I am a Star fan; a View fan. Barbara was gracious, tried to protect Star from a lot of pain. It was time for her to go. Grow up and move on to the next thing, it might even be better for you. If you keep this up, WHO will want to see up show up anywhere? Star, you are a brilliant, beautiful STAR – show it now!
You guys are missing the point. Rosie O’Donnell will ruin this show! She’s crass, ignorant and her idea of a debate is screaming louder than her opponent! Yeah yeah yeah, “gay rights!” Whatever! Star Jones has more class in her little fake pinky fingernail than Rosie O’Donnell can ever fake. Baba Wawa dropped the ball on this deal, and it’s time we stood up to corporate tv and told them how we feel! I’m not against gays, I’m agaist stupid and like Ron White says, “you can’t fix stupid.”
I am disgusted by Barbara Walters’s behaviour. She plays the poor me routine, saying that she was betrayed by Star. Star had every right to announce her departure when she wanted. All Barbara was concerned about was the show and herself. Furthermore, Brian Frons is acting like a jerk. As far as I am concerned Brian and Babs deserve each other!
Has it ever occurred to you that some people work later in the evening or work on weekends.
As for me I like Star very much. The View will not be the same without her. As for Rosie she should go back were she came from. Rosie is gay and Star believes in God. No way will they get along Star is a Christian and Rosie is Gay.and has a big mouth. So Star remember one thing when God closes one door; He opens up another door, and the new door is far more awesome than the one He closes. So Star you have God on your side. What can man do to you? Nothing! Remember Star you are a child of the Living God; He owns everything on this plant. So Be proud of who you are. I truly enjoyed watching the View, but now that Star is gone; I will not watch the View at all. Barbara, you knew a long time ago that you did not want Star there anymore. Barbara, should have been woman enough to tell Star the truth, but as we all know in Hollywood there is no such thing as the truth. So Star believe me they will miss you. Rosie, is going to give The View very bad ratings just wait and see.

I’ve always like the ladies of the View, but I have felt there was a strong undercurrent for several months. Being a fatty, I have beating myself up for not being able to lose weight like Starr. The phrase “Medical Intervention” did not lead me to believe she had undergone surgery. I thought she was having her weight loss supervised by a Doctor. I don’t understand why she just couldn’t say it in plan english. She made a those of us who struggle to lose weight be disgusted with ourselves.
Also, if she wanted to make the annoucment early, why not just tell the others during the morning meetings instead of droping it out of the blue? That was wrong!
I liked the old Starr better. She used to have more compassion and was prettier. She’s just another skinny B. now.
I wish her well, but I’m sad she’s not the person I thought she was.
Rosie’s problem with Star is that Star clains she lost the weight through spirituality, mental fortitude, love and ofcourse, intense workouts. Er, sure Star. Sure you did. Way to go pretending the public is stupid and can’t see that you had G/B. If she didn’t want to speak on her drastic W/L being really Gastric Bypass, then she needs to shut up lying about how she ‘claims’ she did it.

Once everyone knew Rosie was going to take Meredith’s place on the show I figured EVEN YOU knew you were on your way out. I was just wondering if they are going to have to keep paying you your overblown salary until August or will AL have to start doing cheesy commercials for PAYLESS SHOES? I think certain men would be interested in watching a man with “thighs like a stallion and skin the color of cooked butter” (to paraphrase from your book) parade around in Payless sandals!! Just an idea.. lol
I personally love Star, for me Star and Meredith are what/who made the show. Joy is ok but I cant stand Elisabeth she is a one sided loud mouth who thinks her way is the only way, Barbara and ABC made the wrong decision on terminating Star’s contract. If you think your ratings were dropping before watch how they drop in the fall with Star and Meredith gone!!! Star you were they best had. Bye Bye the View, you will be losing many viewer’s.

I agree with Chuck – if one is watching the view – they have way too much time on their hands – and – need to find work!
First, I’d like to give Star bonus points for leaving on her terms, even though she may have qualities that we may not like we all have our faults, and who is Rosie O’Donnell to judge? She is not living the perfect life! Rosie, before you set out to attack someone’s character remember you are opening the door to be attacked also. Get a real life!
