Sal, in this case he went to eeeeevil Business School. Great reference to bring up, though.
Unfortunately, Spacey’s Lex ISN’T an evil business man.
Now, the Lex in the comics (or on The CW’s Smallville for that matter) has been a corporate tycoon for years. One of the many missteps of Singer’s movie is turning Luthor from the evil businessman and making him a wig-wearing buffoon again.
Ah, yes. You’re right, Howard. He got an Eeeeeeevil MBA. Probably from Duke, ha ha.
OK, I saw the movie last night and I have to ask – how is Luthor a representative of “Big Business”? He doesn’t own a business, he doesn’t manage one; all he does is con a woman out of her estate and try to create a continent. His disregard for innocent life helps to brand him as evil, but he’s still more a con man than a businessman.
