So the huge success of the fictional big-screen version of Aquaman as part of the storyline on HBO’s Entourage prompted the show-biz comedy’s producers to take out a very real trade ad in Variety touting the numbers for the blockbuster, directed on the show (but not in real life) by James Cameron. And now comes word that Cameron’s fans are jonesing for the Titanic helmer to actually make Aquaman a reality beyond the Entourage universe. I totally approve of the idea — on one condition: The movie must star Adrian Grenier-as-Vincent Chase, not Adrian Grenier. I mean can you imagine how meta the junket’s gonna be for that flick?
Would you shell out $10 for Aquaman? And would you cast Grenier/Chase or somebody else?

hell yes, i’d see it! just this weekend i said, ‘i wish aquaman was a real movie.’
I might go see a real “Aquaman” movie directed by James Cameron (the guy never fails when it comes to water) but I would definitely be opposed at Adrian Grenier being the star of it, they boy simply cannot act and “Entourage” is exibit A, B, C all they to Z.
Without a doubt I would see that movie. And it should absolutely star Adrien Grenier. Cameron is a genius and would make a phenomenal and visually stunning movie. And it would be a huge draw springing from the Entourage show to the real big screen. The buzz and intrigue on the movie would be enormous if marketed properly. This could be an awesome project.
I was so disappointed to see that ad run the Friday before the 2nd episode aired. I ruined some of the suspense for me. And everyone knows you take out those ads on Monday!
I would certainly go see it. Adrien Grenier must play Aquaman. The only problem is that I’m not sure how good of an actor he actually is. I’ve only seen him in Entourage, and while I love his performance there-He does the blank playboy type well-I fear that he might just actually be the blank playboy type.

I wouldn’t see it if Grenier/Chase was in it…He’s definitely one of those people that I don’t understand why people think he’s attractive.
What Entourage fan wouldn’t see this movie?! I know my weekly viewing gang is clamoring for this to actually be made. Come on Fanboys!! If we band together, this could really happen!

Definately “YES”! Love the throwback to ol’ school super heroes. James Cameron rocks and Adrian Grenier is not my first pick…or my last to play the part but let’s wait and see!
It wouldn’t be on my list of must see movies for any year. But I’d probably put it on my netflix list. Would definetely stay away from it if it was Grenier in the lead. Let’s face it, what makes it so funny that the movie is a big splash is the totally unbelievable numbers for it with a totally crappy actor as the lead. Aquaman is a minor super hero, he’d more likely go down like Poseidon.
I don’t understand Adrian Grenier’s appeal. He is unattractive and buying him being a hot movie star is very difficult. The actor has no physical appeal whatsoever.

Not sure Grenier would be the right choice, and personally, I’d much rather see the full cut of Queens Boulevard.
I’ve been all over an Aquaman movie years before Entourage even became a reality. Of course I’d love to see Cameron have at it with this franchise, but not with any of the Entourage baggage. How about someone who actually looks like the Sea King? What’s cool about Aquaman is that he’s blond as opposed to Superman, Wonder Woman & Batman who are all dark brunettes. If fact historically it was his blond hair and blue eyes that made Arthur Curry a castoff in Atlantis.
I am still waiting for Viking Quest to come out on DVD, but would beyond a doubt pay money to see Aquaman. With Cameron at the Helm? I just hope they give Vespas a little bit more props in the movie than they do on the show…

“Entourage” works because we completely buy Adrien Grenier as a movie star, including when we see Vince onscreen in “Queens Boulevard,” in his Japanese commercial and now in “Aquaman.” Grenier appears in “The Devil Wears Prada” opening this Friday, and I fully expect Hollywood will afford him a film career on a par with Vince’s.
Aquaman would be great on the big screen. It’s completely different from all of the other superhero movies right now!
I’d definitely watch the movie aquaman if the lead role would not be Adrien Grenier! The guy doesn’t know how to act! He can never pull it off! I dont even think the guys fom entourage are cool enough!

Well , i would suggest that many other options exist except for renting or buying a movie. As internet sprouts worldwide, you may see lots of interesting servieces online which are movies related. For example this movies service that lets you to download a movie starting from 1.99. You have several options to download: for your pc, pda or Ipod. You can burn to DVD later and watch as many times as you want. All movies are DVD quality and are 100% legal. So that is even cheaper than renting a movie and of course alot cheaper then buying them.
