If you are so concerned with America maybe YOU should do some work to help to make it a better place by not promoting ethnocentrism and judging world humanitarians. I DO work in Human Services and everyday I personally see and work with abused and neglected children in my own home town. I AM doing something to help people to the best of my ability — are you? Probably not…sounds more like you have a case of celebrity worship! Do you have a poster of Ms Jolie on your wall too?
I say enough of this Jolie/Pitt stuff. Her comment was she was so scared, she just wanted to har her cry her first breath, well Angelina, every mother wants to hear that sound. How did an article about Sin City 2 segueway into a hater-fest against Angelina Jolie? Of course America has problems too, but we’re no where near Darfur, for instance. Communities of women are raped on a dailly basis, multitudes of children are being sold into slavery….what state in the USA do you see that happening in? There is so much lawlessness in some of these third world nations. Of course America should fix our problems at home too and there’s a lot abuse that go on here. But trying to become the heroine of third world nations is not an easy task. Visiting these countries that would nauseate most people is not exactly a picnic at the beach. There is something to be said for someone who’s living the sort of the life AJ is living. If you can’t see that, then you are blind.
