Dixie Chix tix nixed?

I cant believe that peopel think that what the chix said is bad. they said what they said adn its over. I personally agree with their comment, but thats besides the point. I love their music and I am behind them all the way. I think that its very low of America to sink to the level they have sunk to. death threats? isnt americas slogan the land of the free adn the home of the brave? its called free speech you a**holes. look it up.

you people are obviously what the president referred to as “the bubba vote” honestly the majority of you seem greatly uneducated. When other stars or music artists say negative things about the president they are not boycotted for long periods of time by their fans. I am not a country fan and honestly hate country but I do love the dixie chix, their version of country and the fact that they have an opinion and voice (which I do agree with). So all you uneducated bubbas (thats redneck or hick if you havent figure it out yet) who are still proud to have “W” as our president and still do not respect the dixie chix for having a their own voice

Becca, you are obviously uneducated, the majority of the Dixie Chix old fan base (who now will never listen to them again) are very loyal Bush supporters. they should have thought about that before they opened up thier mouths and disrepected Bush. They didn’t even say anything about Bush’s performance as Pres, just that we are embarrarsed he’s from TX, WTF??? And people go on and on about free speach and crap, well no duh, its America and people can boycott whoever the hell they want for whatever they want. Polotics and Relegion are two subject that people get real hot about and if a person whose income depends on the opinions of others and them buying records then they should think about what they say before they go and get involved in polotics. As far as other artists not getting lashed for what they say, well the other artists mentioned didn’t rely on Bush supporters. When Mel Gibson made a movie about Jesus he had to fund it himslef b/c of how liberal hollywood is!
