Not that by any means I’ve given up hope for an additional season of Starting Over — I swear if it gets officially cancelled, I’m creating a macramé web of rage, then promptly setting it ablaze — but I must cop to feeling irrationally excited about Oxygen’s upcoming (and similarly themed) The Bad Girls Club. Oxygen’s describing it as ”a docu-soap chronicling a group of ‘bad girls’ that are brought to live in a house together,” with the end goal of changing their ways; and since the show comes from the folks who brought us MTV’s Real World (and indeed, Starting Over), you can probably expect to see that show’s skank-ulous alumna Trishelle in the mix.
That said, I’d like Bad Girls‘ producers to aim a little higher (or perhaps lower?) by extending an invite to Tara Reid (pictured). Think about it: The woman’s already stooped to cable (with the short-lived Taradise), not to mention a JC Chasez video, so she might consider The Bad Girls Club a step up. Plus, with her rijunkulous fashion sense and ability to put the "stagger" into a staggering social schedule, she’d totally rock the Bad Girls‘ house. Don’t front: You know you’d totally tune in to see that. Now the question is, what other classy ladies should Oxygen pursue for this venture?

Michelle Rodriguez – love her and her post-prison intentions to move to France so she can maintain her drinking/driving habit. She would offer Tara a great drinking partner. Those ladies like their booze.

By bad “girls” do you mean bad implants? Because I’m sure you could do an entire show on implant gossip alone…
How come bad girls become jokes on cheesy reality shows, but bad boys have thriving careers?
They should check out the new Real World/Road Rules “Fresh Meat” cast – there is a gang of potential cast mates to choose from (Coral, Tina, Tonya, Katie, etc.). I would hate to see Tara Reid (her 15 minutes were up like 3 years ago) or Omarosa (after the train wreck that was The Surreal Life I could never see her again in my life and die happy), but America’s Next Top Model has produced some great candidates (I’d so tune in to watch Robin the plus-size Christian hag have to put up with Adrianne Curry and Elyse Sewell again!) and i also love the Michelle Rodriguez and Lil Kim suggestions as well. Oh, and let’s not forget Anna Nicole – she could serve double duty by being a bad-girl and taking us through her pregnancy at the same time.

I saw the show for the first time and I am hooked. The only problem I have is with Jodie and Kerri. THe don’t seem like bad girls. When Ripsi went after Kerri, I expected a big cat fight. I am sure Kerri is no bad girl. I’m not sure how she got on the show…..Can’t wait to see more episodes

Okay, this is a real question, not a rant: In the episode “drop of a hat” they played a song after Zara and Tomik broke up that went “It’s all true, it’s all true, what they say about you, and I’m done standing up for you..” WHAT IS THAT SONG?! I’ve been watching the show for awhile now. Zara seems to stand out the most because of her obvious immaturity. Aimee seems to stand out for her enormous negetavity. It literally surrounds her. Kerry seems to stand out for her soft spoken demeanor. Deann seems to stand out for her loud mouth. And Jodi seems to stand out for her “hey everyone look at me” mentality. I don’t think any of them are really bad girls. Although Aimee seems to be trying so darn hard to make everyone think she is. Good luck with that. And as for the two new girls. Go go girl and blowfish girl as she was called. They are new so they aren’t really standing out much at all now. But who knows. It’s a kick watching all of them.
