I am sitting at my desk at work LAUGHING my A** off at the parody of “We Will Rock You”…it’s things like that that keep me coming back to this website, and subscribing to the magazine. You HAVE to print that in the magazine…it is simply TOO MUCH!!!! I will never hear that song the same way again, now.

Brian May is just that, a nice guy. Do you really think that he would say anything negative that would insult Ace and his Radio Disney Fans? I doubt it. Look, straight out- my mom and I both agreed that Ace turned “We Will Rock You” into “Rock A Bye Baby”. It was pure and utter trash. However, I am not sure which was worse? J.D. Fortune’s take on “We Are The Champions” from Rockstar INXS or Ace’s garbage barge. “We Will Rock You” was never designed as a bubble gum pop song!
If AmericanIdol is supposed to bring families together while watching then moms and dads need help explaining the dirty trips of reality tv editing. How does one explain tricky editing to make what is really said intosomething that sounds bad? Perhaps American Idol should come with a warning label-warning what you see is not necessarily true!
Perhaps the editing was done for controversy to boost ratings(ie Elton John saying that booting Jen Hudson was racist), but I don’t think that Brian May would have ripped Ace’s head off for “Boy-Banding” “We Will Rock You.” May is intelligent to know that the choices the contestents make can add or take away their votes. I did not like Ace’s version because it is not a singing song, it is a powerful cheering song. How many timea has it been used in sports stadiums all over the world? Exaclty. It’s May’s golden goose! However to be fair if I were Ace and I wanted to win with the pop audience, I would have played the safe card and stuck with “Radio Ga-Ga”.
So many people are threatened by Ace Young’s looks. As a mother, I think he comes across as a bright, polite, sensitive and talented guy who just happens to be good looking. He is fresh and a very good performer.
You must be bored and have nothing else to do. Ace Young has lots of fans that are not teeny boppers. So give him a break. Go pick on somebody else.
i think Ace is totally hot. I loved him in his tank top last week and almost lost it when he went to the bottom 3. Keep up the good work Ace!
I think Ace Young completly ruined the song.
Ace is just as talented as the other contestants, but he lacks the self-confidence that they have. Perhaps this is a result of growing up the youngest in a family of boys. He sings just as well as the others, but he doesn’t “storm the stage” like most of them. I think Simon’s comments last night and Rod Stewart’s “stamp of approval” will give him a tremendous boost. He’s intelligent, he’s kind-hearted, he’s sensitive, and he’s got a wonderful voice. He’s not only a gifted singer, but a wonderful role model for my two boys! Go, Ace!
Big struggle between Taylor and Ace. They have been equally impressive with their talent and wouldn’t mind their being an “Idole” role model for my grandchildrn.
Well, I think we’ve all determined the boy just dosn’t have the goods, and truly does sound much like a coyote in a trash compactor; therefore, the only to comment on is his appearance. At first glance at last night’s nub of a pony tail, I screeched, “Oh, its Steve”. He’s our favorite waiter down at the Guadalahara….its a Mexican joint we frequent. Then I realized, he looks like a young Oscar de la Hoya!!! And honestly, if I have to look at that eerie stalker puppy dog stare into camera #2 again, I’m sure alot of us would love to get him in the ring…..to kick some ACE!
i think that when somebody hates or not like somebody, regardless of what ace did or do people still find an excuse to critizise it.we all know that there is always favoritism so i think that ace is as good as anybody else and can do a real nice model,singer and etc.
Let’s face it: all of the idols have qualities that we could pick apart, but that’s not what the show should be about and that’s not what we should use to judge them. There should be no threats made toward them; judge them on their ability and try to keep it real! Ace has just as much talent as anyone else in the final seven. It’s a shame that some people can’t separate their personal prejudices in order to objectively view the show and contestants.
i think ace is just wonderfull . down to earth and not stuck on himself . i love to hear him sing even when its not perfect , none of them are.some of them got comps when it sounded terrible to me.

I could not take my eyes off Ace. He is gorgious.and a great singer. I sure wish,he would of been voted #1.but,i am sure he will continue with his singing,and i will make sure,i get his cd.
The fact of the matter is…so many people were in complete denial regarding the obvious B-Class talent that Ace represented when performing amongst the remaining idol crew. Sure, his look worked for him….but the buck stopped there. He just wasn’t a good singer…and I thought he seemed like a pretty nice guy. He probably won’t have much of a singing career after this.
Ace Young is so hott!!. I can’t believe he got the lowest number of votes. For a minute I thought Chris was going home,but I liked Chris to,so I didn’t really cared who went home. For Ace I cryed because everyone that is cute went home,like Will,Kevin,Bucky,And Ace, so there are really NO cute guys left. I thought Kellie Pickler should of went home instead of Ace because she stunk and Ace didn’t. I hope Taylor Hicks or Katharine McPhee win because Taylor has a good voice and so doesn’t Katharine. I don’t know I just think people are way too heavy on being famous instantly.
I wouldn’t consider it a success, I think it’s rather awful when you reward Mediocrity the way it is today.

People forget fast, sure he’ll have his little American Tour (Now that’s pretty Lame sorry) and then it will be over.

I remember when I saw Ace Young during the auditions, he broke my heart. His looks alone can kill… and boy!!! he can sing, too!!! He’s got the charisma and what Simon Cowell says… X Faxtor. I hope he truly gets his break, 1 chance to prove himself I know he will make the most out of it. Go Ace!!!
