Are you ready for a 'Titanic' sequel?

Categories: Film, Movie Trailers

16218__titanic2_lGranted, this mock-trailer for Titanic: Two the Surface is probably too long by half, but it’s nonetheless entertaining on several levels. First off, it patches together enough random film scenes and sound bites that it works as a kind of nifty trivia game (Hey, that’s James Woods in Contact!) Second, setting the final montage to a dance remix of Celine Dion’s ”My Heart Will Go On,” well, that’s just comic gold. And lastly, the concept is just plausible enough that you can imagine some dunderheaded studio exec greenlighting it 20 years from now. Or, more likely, some time next year. And, y’know, I’m probably gullible enough that I’d pay $10 to see it.

  • Me

What’s really sad about that is that if it were real, I’d probably watch it and like it.

I dare you to rank this in your Worst Sequels List, EW! I dare you! Everything about it is right, including that “Fozen Man of the Titanic” poster!

  • Carrie

Hillarious…what’s sad is that I would pay to see it, no matter the reviews it got. Whoever made this trailer should get directing rights

  • Amy

I’m coming a little late to the party, but this is great. I know I’d see it, too, but only if they actually got Leo.

  • Wayne

I would like to be notified about the release date for the sequel because that’s when I’m hoping NASA will announce plans for sending humans back to the moon…

I actually thought that it was a movie when i saw the preview for the first time. then i was so dissapointed when i searched it on http://www.imdb.com and found nothing and then found out that it isn’t a movie yet. i really hope that it becomes one because it was so sad when jack dies in titanic, and even sadder when in the preview he learns that she’s dead. please make this movie!!!

  • Allie

Robin How Can U Not Be Sad About The Titanic Its History And Whens The Sequel Coming Out I Cant wait It was Great I mean The First Movie And The Second Movie Preveiw I Also LOVE Leo Hes HOTT Like Every Body Else

  • nicky

A poll should be taken and sent to Hollywood for this totally awesome idea for a movie. i would see it! Who reckons they could write a script and send it to Hollywood. I don’t care that it’s unrealistic because my fave movies are the Pirates of the Caribbean ones. Realism doesn’t bother me. Someone write a script and send it in, I guarantee it’ll be made. Seriously, I aint watching the first one again until it’s complimented by the sequel. Signing off (write the script people)
