Tonight’s American Idol theme is ”Songs of the 21st Century,” and coming off last week’s stellar episode, I’ve got my fingers crossed for a second consecutive week of great performances. Of course, that’ll largely depend on the contestants’ song choices, and while you can bet the 10 remaining finalists have already reheased the heck out of their numbers, that shouldn’t stop us from making last-minute suggestions for alternate selections, right? Mandisa should sing Mary J Blige’s Family Affair. ANd Chris could rock out on Jet’s Are you gonna be my girl. Katherine should take Destiny Child’s Independent Women.

I love the Bucky and the instrumental song comment! That’s great! However, I highly doubt that Pickler knows who Bjork even is!

Lisa could be complicated. If it can be reworked, So help me girl by Gary Barlowe. Just change the girl to boy. Actually that would be a great song for Ace or Elliot.
