This is so sad. Americans just choose the wrong things at the most crucial times:
-George Bush instead of Al Gore
-Hilary Duff instead of Nellie McKay
…and now “Wife Swap” instead of “Arrested Development.”
Noooooooooooooooo! That really blows. AD is the only show I’ve cared so much about being cancelled that I’ve followed news on it endlessly. Damn Fox for ever even considering cancelling it. I can see from their stellar line-up that they can afford to kill a media darling. How about some more crap reality shows, Fox?
How about Fox revives “Firefly” and casts Jason Bateman as Capt. Mal’s (Nathan Fillion) long lost brother? I know, very silly idea, and believe me, not to be taken seriously (as much as it would be cool). I just think the two of them look very similar.
Man-this is just a blow! Ugh…just when I thought my life couldn’t get any worse…urhghghghg (drowning sounds)
Bring Will Arnett and/or Jason Bateman to NBC’s The Office!!! Need Not Say Anymore.
I’d love to see a few of these folks cameo on My name is Earl. The actors all seem to have funky enough personas that I could easily picture them as trailer folk. OOOOOH, or as guest stars on Reno 9/11 would also be cool. Oh, and Anyang should guest star on LOST as Kim’s long lost younger brother.

Arrested Development is the most hilarious, most well written and original show to ever air on TV and it gets cancelled????? Can someone please explain this to me??!!! I am so angry and depressed right now!!!

We already know Henry and Emily Gale are the names of Dorothy’s aunt and uncle in The Wizard of OZ…so chances are Henry really is an ‘Other’. Yet at the same time we know from previews that Ana Lucia’s team IS gonna find a hot air baloon in the trees. I have no idea what this means for the Losties but we need metaphorical ‘lions and tigers and bears’ and why not these guys? Lucille can be the wicked witch of the west, Buster can be the cowardly lion, Maeby can be the tin WOman, Lindsay can be the supposedly sluttish good witch Belinda but then it turns out that’s actually her husband Tabith and she was just trying to get laid…the fsther and uncle twins can be Lucille’s flying monkeys, Michael can be the scarecrow who thinks he needs a new brain because he’s clearly gone mad, Gob can be a horney Toto, and George Michael can be a flying monkey pretending to be a tinman to get close to Maeby.
And it can all be a dream of Locke’s when he remembers where he knows the name Henry Gale comes from.
I’ve accepted AD leaving my life. Somthing funny and smart is gone, While at the same time……
….American Idol keeping going and going. And, as AI fans seem to become more hypoxic each season, FOX sucks up the money manna generated from this meager show about talent scouting. (FOX sucks.)
