It’s not a perfect match, but it’s fun to see which artists are dead ends and which are nexus points for multiple genres. The busy King’s Cross/St. Pancras tube stop, for instance, becomes the Beck station, where the lines of Pop, Hip-Hop, Funk, Rock, Blues, and Jazz intersect. The cats who make the Kurt figure also make a really cool Snoop Dogg figure as well. Missing however, is a photo of next year’s model, the Courtney Love figure. She comes with a shotgun and pair of harpy’s wings.
Do the “dead-ends” mean that they are the originators of a sound or that they are “untouchable” or what?
