It’s a good week for Gabe Kaplan. He’s sold the film rights to Welcome Back, Kotter, and now, episodes of the classic Sweathog sitcom are streaming for free at AOL. The online provider’s new In2TV video-on-demand service is live now, and it’s carrying lots of free vintage TV shows, including Sisters (pictured), V, Eight Is Enough, Pinky and the Brain, Kung Fu, Spenser for Hire, Falcon Crest, Chico and the Man, and Wonder Woman. Kudos to AOL (which, like EW.com, is part of Time Warner) for using cutting-edge technology to expand our opportunities for procrastination.

George Clooney alert! George played “Falconer,” one of Sela Ward’s husbands in this series. Very sexy long-haired detective before he was Dr. Ross on E.R. I’ve missed this show.

I bring up this show from time to time, just as an excuse to mention Swoozie Kurtz.. I was about 12-14 years old when this was on, and I watched it religiously.. how did my parents not know I was gay… ahh.. memories..

No kudos to AOL from me. The shows are only available to people running Windows XP. That leaves out all us Mac users. Digital rights management can successfully be done cross-platform, so there’s no excuse for this Microsoft-only crap. Ugh.
Why watch these shows on a small screen when the public anxiously awaits the big-screen movie versions of these shows (NOT!). But *sigh* you know it’s bound to happen.

Whoa, whoa! Having watched Sisters means you’re gay?! I watched for Julianne Philips, Sela Ward and Ashley Judd. Who woulda thought that Sela would only have gotten hotter in the last 15 years?
When I watch anything on in2tvaol the show quits about half way through, what am I doing wrong. Help!!!
