MSNBC has a groovy deconstruction of the most memorable Hollywood screen kisses (just in time for Valentine’s Day) — and while I applaud the inclusion of smooches as varied as The Lady and the Tramp, Spider-Man‘s upside-down tonsil hockey (pictured), and Jack and Ennis’ Brokeback reunion, I’ve got to ask: Where the heck are Moonstruck ("Take me to the bed!") and Body Heat?
What do you guys think? Are there any other legendary lip-locks the article missed?

favorite recent is hands down the rain-soaked kiss from The Notebook. Loves it.
Big Top Pee Wee. No question.
Dude, c’mon! It is all about Han and Leia’s kiss right before Han is placed into carbonite. A kiss does not work unless its a tragic goodbye, and only Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher could pull it off so brilliantly.
In Vertigo, when Kim Novak kisses James Stewart before she goes up in the tower – most desperately romatic.
The final kiss in The Princess Bride – most “at last” romantic.
Richard Gere/Julia Roberts – he was the stand-in groom during rehearsal for her wedding to another guy
Harrison Ford and Kelly McGillis in Witness
How come no one has mentioned Robert Downey, Jr.’s and Heather Graham’stongue action in James Toback’s erotic Two Girls and a Guy? One of the best tongue kisses in movie history.
Best Kiss is when Jack and Ennis reunite….
The kiss is the best thing about romantic movie. The upside down kiss in the rain was one of the best kisses I’ve Ever seen in a movie.
Aw, what about Viggo’s passionate swallowing of Liv Tyler’s entire face in the coronation scene of LOTR?
THE LAST OF THE MOHICANS!!!!! Daniel Day-Lewis and Madeleine Stowe…a kiss burned in my memory.
The Notebook kiss in the rain….that keeps going…up the stairs…in the hall…to the bed….now THATS a kiss!!!
Anthony Hopkins kisses Julianne Moore, whose hair is caught in a refrigerator. Immediately afterwards the sound of handcuffs clicking could be heard. Not very romantic: but memorable.
Dominique Swain and Jeremy Irons in Lolita. Nuff said.
lost in translation or garden state….both at the end.
