Fashion Week: Uma Thurman and Kim Cattrall

ZAC POSERS After a week of mostly C-listers and fur-trimmed socialites (what exactly is Helen Lee Schrifter famous for again?), an honest-to-goodness movie star has finally graced New York Fashion Week: Uma Thurman showed up to support Zac Posen at his Bryant Park show. Also on hand: Claire Danes, Jamie Lynn Sigler, and Lee Ann Rimes.

LONDON CALLING Brit designer Alice Temperley showed hershamelessly pretty creations at the Promenade, adding a Continentaltouch by outfitting most of her models in sleek chignons and berets.Admiring the ladylike looks: Kim Cattrall (at left, with an unidentified friend, who befrended Temperleywhile she was doing a play in London), Helena Christensen, and SophieDahl.

SOME KIND OF WUNDERFUL Wunderkind designer Wolfgang Joop’srunway show at the Bryant Park tent was an unflattering parade of bulkytweeds, lackluster animal prints, and cumbersome furs.
