Dear Celebrity:
Thanks for agreeing to appear on Will & Grace! You join a proud list of more than 1,000 celebrities who’ve guest-starred in self-parodying cameos on our show!
As is standard practice on W&G, our writers have cooked up a premise for you that will involve winking at your own personal history. In your case, Mrs. Federline, they’ve decided to poke fun at your long-since-abandoned assertions of Christian chastity and piety. Again, this is all in good fun, and you shouldn’t feel insulted when Jack (Sean Hayes) or Grace (Debra Messing) crack wise about your reality-show exhibitionism or your inexorable slide from pop superstar into Vegas lounge act.
For your participation, in addition to your fee, you will also receive the Will & Grace celebrity cameo gift bag we give to all our guests, which includes a nice collection of moisturizing products and an iPod pre-programmed with Megan Mullally’s album of show tunes and M&M jingles.
Thanks again, and have fun!
P.S. One ground rule: We do have to ask that our guests not bring any potentially distracting visitors to the set. In your case, that means you may bring adorable little Sean Preston, but please leave Kevin at home, lest he start singing ”PopoZao”. Again, have a good time!
*(Or, at least, this is how we imagine it might be…)

I love Will & Grace, but I may have to skip this episode…although Jack will undoubtedly go nuts, so that might be fun. But Britney…*shudder*
i feel exactly the same way. and it’s unfortunate, because i’ve been treasuring these last episodes and now there’s one less will & grace for me to enjoy…
I hope this is the only work she gets. Ever. Again.
o sweet jesus, what a beautiful disaster.
Please Britney! Hit the Stair-master before you appear on this over-extended show. This show has jumped the shark so many times already, it should get its own show at Sea World.
I really wish Brit-Brit never did chaotic. I haven’t been able to stand the sight of her since.
It’s this kind of “Love Boat” stuntcasting that made me stop watching “W&G” about 4 years ago. Goodbye forever, may you all find a droplet of moisture in comedy hell.
Gee, I KNEW there was a reason I don’t watch this show! Sorry, Brit – I’ll probably be busy that night watching paint dry or something more meangingful…
The only W&G celebrity appearance that I genuinely appreciated was Cher’s. She did a nice cameo as herself and Jack got to meet his idol. I doubt Britney’s appearance will be as endearing to the audience thats already been alienated by previous guest stars and lousy plotlines. Too bad.
Yeah – I agree with the comment on stuntcasting – this show has turned into “Fantasy Island”. I can’t believe they haven’t had Charo on yet. I think the last time I sat and watched an entire episode was 3 years ago – and I used to so love this show.
it will be good to see Britney again on screen and she did great on saturday night live so i have faith she will be funny on Will & Grace….all you haters need to step of because you are the ones wasting your time talking about someone u “can’t stand”…seems a little strange to me
Britney. I liked her song and dance routine. Why did she give it up? Acting AND reality tv have proven to be no-gos.
Jamie makes a great point. Will& Grace seems to be turning into the new Love Boat.
Celebrity PR Machine + Sitcom Desparate for Ratings & Relevance = Total Crap-fest
Wait — someone’s confusing “hating” with “honesty.” That girl doesn’t have an ounce of talent, and it’s sad to see a show that I used to love so much limp towards the finish line like this.
um…Charlie, making fun of Britney’s weight like some are doing IS hating..and Britney wouldnt be a pop supertar with millions of dollars if she didnt have any talent…its one thing to disagree about how much talent she has but to say she has none is ridiculous and obviously incorrect to anyone with half of a brain.
