Bono, a Kanye West Fan, man, the greatest rocker on earth likes the greatest rapper on earth, shouldn`t that like tear a hole in the universe or something, still its awesome to know that Bono enjoys the brilliance of Kanye West`s music, and that there may be a guest spot for the affluential rapper on U2`s next album, maybe another remix of “Diamonds From Sierra Leone” Featuring Bono’s hormonizing voice and The Edge’s mesmerizing guitar solos paired with Kanye’s breathtaking beats and words, yes, nirvana is attainable…

They are huge and I think the best thing about Bono is he puts his money where his mouth is so to speak. That is what makes him unique in this environment – a lot of star mouth support but you don’t see them put themselves out there like Bono does. Plus U2′s live show is amazing…they still have “it” after all these years. Who else can say that? Bet you can only count them on maybe two hands…

Odd to me this one. I remember on 120 minutes how the Edge was talking about how much hip hop and industrial music inspired the zooropa album. And rattle and Hum was a pretty clear tribute to the way soul music inspired them.
It sounds almost as if U2 is rehashing old influences and calling it new. If they really want a challenge, Bono and Company should make a reggeaton album. It might become the first reggeaton album worth listening to all the way through.
One last tidbit. Back in my days as a Senate Staffer, we’d bump into lots of Senators and Congressmen. Staff were usually immune to the “oh my god, it’s hillary clinton”. However, when BONO came to the Hill, it was like these educated 20 somethings were teenaged girls at a Beatles show. That man has got some kind of celebrity about him that is truly amazing. How did these guys get so huge?
