When Joss Whedon recommends a series I am still skeptical, and when EW recommends a series I am sometimes skeptical. However, E.W. AND JOSS? That’s like Mozart & Mozart’s friend…er… Butch Cassidy and Mozart recommending a show.

I think they just chose VM because it was close to Smallville in popularity and it’s more critically popular to like VM opposed to Smallville.

YES!! Thank you, EW. Imo, there’s no show on TV more deserving than Veronica. Also, I know it’s been mentioned in these comments, but it’s worth repeating: Anyone who doesn’t want to miss Lost tonight, but might be interested in seeing Veronica Mars, it reruns next Tuesday at 9. Also, it usually reruns on the weekends, but those times vary with the local stations.
