Good idea! Carson from Queer Eye would be EXCELLENT instead of Isaac!

Forgot to comment, but I agree with Mike Slezak on this: the best comeback was by conservative undie wearing Jessica Alba, who’s response to Isaac’s question about underwear said ‘No one is going to see my na na”. She’s had me listening to Foxy Brown all day as a result. The Ill Na na!

Gotta love TV. They bleep curse words but producers allow Mizarahi (or however you say/spell it) to sexually harass women on the air for 2 hours. I was appalled and felt sorry for several of the women. He was way over the line and I would have been mortified if anyone grabbed me like he did Scarlett J., straight man, gay man, or another woman. That was wrong. E! should be ashamed of themselves and hope they don’t get sued or fined.

Agree that Jessica Alba’s response to the undie question was co cute and appropriate. Ditto for Keira Knightley who said “I’m a lady” when asked the same.
Hmm…yet an older gal like Teri Hatcher, was SO EAGER to spill on her lack of underwear. Poor Teri, she is always in need of attention.

Just to let everyone know, E! not only does not care about viewer’s reactions to Isaac- they are throwing it in your face! After the debacle on Monday, yesterday they reran the entire thing! I was just flipping through channels, and there was Isaac asking Sandra Oh’s pregnant sister what kind of underwear she had on! Then, on E! News they started the show with “Hilary Swank deniew she’s single!” Then, they referred to Isaac like they were so proud of his performance. So, E! does not care about the viewer’s reactions (and they are the same on many boards), so maybe the sponsors and advertisers, not to mention the star’s publicists and agents should be the ones to complain to. So glad everyone else was offended. Because, otherwise, it would have been great!

Nicky, it would seem that you and others who were annoyed by Gwyneth Paltrow’s pronunciation of Anthony Hopkins’ first name as “Antony” do not realize that IS the correct pronuciation. It is we Americans who mispronounce his name with the more commonly-used American pronunciation. You wouldn’t pronounce Ralph Fiennes first name the same way you pronounce Ralph Kramden, even though they are spelled the same way. Gwyneth was not adapting a British speech affectation – she was absolutely correct and you are wrong to criticize her about it! It would have been horribly embarrassing to Anthony Hopkins if Gwyneth hosted his tribute and continually mispronouced his name. I saw both Pierce Brosnan and Laura Linney wince as John Travolta and Jamie Foxx mispronounced theirs (Bron-son and Lin-ley), an didn’t even bother to correct themselves. At least Gwyneth showed the proper amount of respect.

Another update- now Eonline has an article stating the “Best reviews of the night were for E!’s Isaac Mizrahi”- and goes on to praise him! Sheesh! What is wrong with these people? Loved Hilary Swank, Jessica Alba, and Keira Knightley’s response.
On another note, it is not just Gwyneth saying “Antony”-it is her fake strange accent she has adopted- and her whole snobby, above it all demeanor. I just read an article where she dissed Will Smith! I mean, really.

WTF? As much as I can’t stand kathy Griffith and Star Jones, I’ll take them over Issac “The Groper” Mizrahi. I still can’t believe he got away with that! What was E thinking?

  • Nicky

Poor pale Gwynneth, such a wannabe English-rose. She made one movie with AnTONY Hopkins – it should have been Jodie Foster giving him that award.

    Is Ryan Seacrest gay?
