Fill your iPod Nano in one fell swoop with the recommendations of the New York Post’s music staff. They’ve picked their 205 favorite song downloads of the year (Why 205? Why not?), and it’s a pleasantly eclectic list, featuring usual suspects (Gwen Stefani’s ubiquitous ”Hollaback Girl”), overlooked deep cuts from said suspects (Bruce Springsteen’s haunting ”Matamoros Banks,” Alice Cooper’s country gothic ”The Saga of Jesse Jane”), and delightful obscurities (LCD Soundsystem’s homage ”Daft Punk Is Playing at My House”). I heard somewhere that Kelly was going to release “Walk Away” as her next single. Pretty amazing that she’s been able to release five singles. Love her album!

Nice to see that The Post recognized “Since U Been Gone” as the song of the year. To bad the Grammy commitee didn’t and snubbed it in the Record of The Year category.

I don’t have a quibble, I have a jump-for-joy. Any list that recognizes the brilliance that is Robbie Williams (even if he was only on the list once) is aces in my book.
Why.. why WHY! won’t Kelly release “Addicted” or “Hear Me”?!!? They are easily the two strongest songs on the whole album.. grr.. not that I don’t love all of the other songs that were released.. but still.. she did the same thing to me with “Thankful”.. not releasing “Anytime” or “You Thought Wrong”…
i hope, hope, hope the video for “walk away” (kelly c) is a concert version. it was a KICK-ASS opening number and one of my favorite songs on “breakaway”.
