Howard Stern's going out with a bang (heh-heh)

9148__stern_lShould we be happy or sad? Tomorrow is the last free Howard Stern show, and he’s marking his departure for satellite radio with a huge, public farewell party. Friday’s show will include a rally and parade in Manhattan (assuming that the threatened transit strike fails to materialize and snarl traffic), a concert by Sheryl Crow, and a visit with future Sirius stablemate Martha Stewart. You can watch the whole thing streaming at Yahoo Music. Let’s see if Howard will give us a preview of his of the new show; sure, it could risk an FCC fine against his current employers, but what are they going to do, fire him?

We should be HAPPY…he’s going to satellite radio, where he will have all the freedom in the world and the show will be TEN TIMES as inventive, creative, and daring as it is now. Hooray For Howard!

Can’t wait! I’ll be standing by my office window and watch the whole thing from there. Howard rules!

Yawn. Has even been remotely funny since Jackie left? Nope.
So now instead of being creative and finding ways around “restrictions”, he can be as obscene and gross as he wants. Does anyone REALLY like any of his video tapes where he has free reign? They are BORING and I suspect Sirius will be sorry.
    Tell ‘em Fred.
