Box Office Bull's-eye: Finally! Perfect scores!

All hail, JoAnn Jusino and Brad Smith!

At long last, in the seventh round of ourprediction game, both of them rose above the crowd of 1,631 competitors — andanswered all seven questions correctly.

Well, okay, let’s get more precise. When it came down to the crucial question –guessing the exact box office take of Aeon Flux, these two wizards wereright on the mark. They each guessed $12million and the actual number was $12.6 million.

Meanwhile, some of you may remember that we loosened our rules a bit inround seven, indicating that any prediction of the earnings for AeonFlux would be considered correct if it fell within $3 million of theactual total. So that adds four morefinalists to the mix, whose Aeon Flux predictions ranged from $10 million to $15million: Kael Rebick; So Young Park;Leonard Tran; and Ben Travers.

Of the 17 other competitors  who madeonly one mistake, it was the Aeon Flux question that proved fatal foralmost all of them; their answers rangedfrom $5 million to $47 million.

So here’s what happens next: We’ve got two models of perfection and four others close behind — allof them vying for the prize if they can just ace the game for another round. And we’ve got the rest of you realizing that you can only win thiscompetition if you play before Thursday at  3 p.m.
