Take this best of 2005 movie quiz

Yeah, I know, I get to see movies for a living, but you’ll have to forgive me if I can’t remember every last detail of the several hundred movies I saw this year. Sorry if I can’t remember things like the city towards which Ice Cube was driving those brats in Are We There Yet (it was in the Pacific Northwest, wasn’t it?), or the actor who played the fourth brother in Four Brothers (it was three rappers-turned-actors, and some other guy). In other words, I got only 24 out of 30 right in the New York Daily News’ year-end movie trivia quiz.

Try it yourself and tell me if you can do better than my 80 percent. It’s okay; I can take it.

Umm….didn’t Christian Bayo star in Batman Begins not Batman Returns? Cause that’s what they have listed in the 1st question.

    whoops, I mean Bale

    lauren you are right
12 out of 30-harder than I thought it would be

    20. Why do these people like ‘Four Brothers’ so much? I think I did well considering how few of the movies I’ve seen this year made it into this quiz.

29 out of 30…damn Anthony Anderson.

Yeah, I think that I did pretty good considering I’ve seen maybe 8-10 of the movies on the quiz. I got 20 out of 30. I was wondering why they had so many questions on Four Brothers myself.

23 out of 30 where I haven’t even seen half the movies because I knew they would be craptastic.

    20. Having also skipped more than 1/2 of the movies mentioned, I give all credit to online trailers that give away highlights. And I obviously know way too much about the ever-present Dakota Fanning.

What is this 1996? Who has the energy to take such a low tech poll? No radio buttons? No check boxes? No score tabulations? Too much work for an online feature. Plus awful, annoying flashing ad banners on the home page. Yuck! C’mon EW, can’t you re-purpose (or co-opt) a better web site poll than this?

23 out of 30, as well. Why did they not focus on some of the better stuff out this year, like “The Interpreter” or “Crash”? “Four Brothers” got a tad too much attention, though I was glad to see shout-outs to “Serenity” and “Junebug”.
