A Desperate Housewives spokesperson says Page Kennedy was fired for ”improper conduct.” He says the show was ”[going] in a new direction.” (Um, okay.) Either way, how long do you give Kennedy, who has been replaced by Nashawn Kearse, before he makes a round of tearful interviews on morning TV? And while we’re on the subject, are you feeling the whole Applewhite family subplot in the first place?

I say give the plot more time… i still dont get all of it.. kinda messy.
I wanna know what he did to get fired…. this was supposed to be his breakout hit….when i first heard the news i tought the son was the one who got fired…. that guy is a good actor.. im happy hes still on the show..

Osman, alleged internet rumors suggest that P.K. flashed himself to some ladies on the D.H. set. (Tho no to the main cast ladies, from what is allegedly rumored).
Anyway P.K.’s role as been recast. Note to Marc Cherry: Perhaps you could have found a new actor who at least resembled P.K, especially since he has had a close up. All black people do not look alike, Mr. Cherry. For Shame.
I hear that Page Kennedy was flashing everyone on the set, and that’s why he was canned…I don’t know if I believe the rumor, but it sure is funny! And I agree that we should give the subplot a bit more time…I’m especially curious to see where the new relationship with Bree’s daughter Danielle (Joy Lauren) and the cutie Matthew (Mehcad Brooks) goes.
I agree with Josh, as much as I like Alfre, her plotline is not interesting. At least with Mary Alice’s suicide mystery, there was a connection to the main characters. But does anyone, other than Susan, even notice the Applewhite’s living on Wysteria Lane? At least if Betty had befriended the other girls but had this secret that she was hiding, it might be interesting. But so far, there has been such little involvement with the Applewhite’s, even the audience doesn’t care.
I’m sorry, who is Page Kennedy? I watch the show but I have no idea who this person is.

he supposedly flashed a crew member and tried to date an intern. since he didn’t have that big a role (yet anyway) that story seems to more likely the truth then his version, that they wanted to cast in a “different direction”
nope, don’t care one iota for the applewhites. i thought it was intriguing the first time i saw him in the basement and then nothing. i honestly forget they’re on the show until they pop up and then i’m like, ohhh, right- alfre woodard’s on here.
