Department store Nordstrom is getting big-name DJs to remix ’80s hits — how random is that? First up, Fatboy Slim slices up The Go-Go’s "Our Lips areSealed" to great effect. Video director Olivier Gondry (Eternal Sunshine director Michel’s brother) recuts the original music video, interspersing shots of a flirty Belinda Carlisle and future Surreal Lifer Jane Wiedlin in a cute green dress with cheesy footage of modern-day Go-Go wannabes wearing the latest Nordstrom styles. Well, the remix is kind of cool anyway.

I liked the remix a lot. It’s the best thing I’ve heard from Fatboy Slim in a while. Not totally crazy about the video, but it was sure nice to see the Go-Gos again. They were one of my favourite bands of the 80s. Pure pop joy.
You failed to clearly indicate which of the three entities involved was hosting the remix. Next time, can you provide a more direct link to the thing being downloaded?
The remix is ok, I’ve heard better from Mr. Cook. The video “remix” is an annoying ad for the store. My favorite remix of “My Lips Are Sealed” is the Urdu remix of the Fun Boy Three version of the song.
