Will there be an 'Austin Powers 4'?

145438__ap_lIf you delighted in last week’s announcement that Mike Myers will end his big-screen hiatus in a Keith Moon biopic, then you’ll think the news Michelle Kung breaks in the current issue of Entertainment Weekly (out today) is groovy, baby!

Indeed, the funnyman lets slip to Kung that he is in talks for a fourth Austin Powers flick. ”There is hope! We’re all circling and talking to each other. I miss doing the characters,” Myers says.

Of course, that raises the questions: Do you miss Austin, Dr. Evil, Fat Bastard & Co.? Or did you reach your limit with Goldmember? Weigh in; I want to see a whole lotta responses!

I’d rather stick my dick in a blender than sit through another installment of the Austin Powers series.

I say bring another one on, baby!

I thought the second Austin Powers was much better than the first, but the third one was a real disapointment. It’s as if the well ran totally dry. If they do a fourth one, it had better be knee slappin’, fat bastard sleeping with a hot blonde funny.

horrible idea…it has to be HI-LARIOUS in order to even invest money it.
the first was the best because myers and hurley had a real chemistry…2nd was still pretty funny…3rd was so bad i didn’t finish it.

what the hell..bring on the fourth installment. The first and second being the best, the third being a total disappointment, I would be willing to slap down $10 bucks to see the 4th. However, I would be more intrigued if the 4th was a “R” rating.

I reached the limit when Austin drank the beaker of poo in “The Spy Who Shagged Me.”

I’m game for a fourth as long as the skin-snacking Goldmember and Fat Bastard aren’t around. More Scott and Dr. Evil…yes please!

I would be interested to see these movies go back to more of an intellectual humor and less gross-out humor. Eating skin?? I don’t even understand how that’s supposed to be funny but some of the stuff in those movies made me laugh so hard my sides hurt. More smart jokes, please!

The third was a disappointment. It also ended the Austin Powers “trilogy”. I think there shouldn’t be another one. All good things have to come to an end, even if the ending sucks.

    NO MORE…. yeah baby!

Oh my Gosh! I hope there is a 4th one. I’am a big fan of all the Austin Powers movies! Yeah baby!

I’d love to see how they have Scott as the main Evil character and Dr. Evil trying to be a good brother and son to Austin and his dad. I also just adore Seth Green, even in a bald cap.

God save us from any more Austin Powers… who brought us new depths to our shame, and talent void. Americans are probably stoopid enough to pay for tickets to a fourth Austin Powers… unless we can somehow have Mike Myers thrown out of the country… Iraq would be a good spot for him and is talentless ontourage.

See, I’ve heard repeatedly that the 3rd installment sucked and I whole-heartedly disagree. That movie: Goldmember, is actually the best one. The comedy is more subtle, after the big intro that is, but actually is 10x as funny as the previous entries. There are story arcs and jokes so hilarious that I would totally enjoy another Austin Powers’ film. And more SETH GREEN, too!

The first one was the best…the other two are tired rehashes…the idea of a fourth does not excite me at all…if there’s one thing Mike is good at- its overindulgence…so I expect the fourth to be the worst of the lot…and I LOVE the first movie, so it pains me to say that…
