Today’s newspaper reviews for Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit are almost uniformly positive, and perhaps the positivity rubbed off on PopWatch, as most of the headlines we came across were at least moderately clever, if not downright inspired (though none quite as genius as a profile of director Nick Park in the Sommerville Journal titled "Plasti-scene stealers"). Still, you’ve got to wonder if these folks are all working with the same book of puns, as certain themes emerged.

When I read my Daytona Beach News Journal today, I noticed your article on the new movie Wallace & Gromit, with the title of Great Claymates. Immediately, I thought of the talented singer Clay Aiken. As you know, his many fans are called Claymates. I know that is not how it was intended, but it sure got my attention. I think it will be a wonderful movie for adults and children alike. I think I’ll take my grandchildren to see it. Thank you for the article.
Thanks for the associations with OMC, really cute and funny!
