SNL, why would you have the horrible Kanya West on your great show??? That so called music was disgusting and awful..Why are these so called..”ARTISTS”, always touching there’re crouch?? Your show tonight was NOT good at all will that thing there!!! TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED

Ya know, I was born and raised in New Orleans, and guess what ..I saw my people dead, Dead, DEAD in our streets, hungry and in stress at the convention center and rotting in the Superdome. (Why didn’t you just do a skit about people jumping out of windows in the world trade? O’h that was to serious a trajedy to degrade) my point exactly …Man to some it was funny for me, a native of the city it brought me to anger and tears.

I am a devoted SNL and Weekend Update fan, and although Horatio did seem to crack up on every joke, he is a funny guy and so it was okay. As for Ashley coming back, good for her!!

Bill Hader was incredible! Love him! Keep him. He adds so much to the show! The Girls Gone Wild was sketchy but the rest of the show was great! The highlight – seeing the Mike Meyers and Kanye spoof!

Personally, I don’t think Sanz does the right kind of comedy to do WU (plus, he just can’t keep a straight face). But I have to say that it was cool to finally see him not playing some extravagant character – sometimes I forget that he’s a person in real life too, not just a loud nut. And he was relentless in his joke-telling – unlike Norm MacDonald, who (although some people apparently love him) can’t keep his morale up after one joke tanks.
Kanye West was funny in his little intro, and although I think he’s a bit too self-involved sometimes, he’s very natural on camera (unlike, oh, I don’t know, Ashlee Simpson, who seemed fake even after saying two words onscreen – maybe she wasn’t used to using her own voice on TV).
Good luck to Bill and Andy, who already seem to show a lot of potential.

I thought the girls gone wild was shockingly tasteless. And not funny (I stopped watching after that point). I thought the married couple skit was mildly funny and Kanye was pretty good. Sanz is a talentless hack who is just filling the Belushi/Farley fat guy slot until dying of a heart attack/drug overdose.

yes yes, we all get it, you think Horatio is awful. I must admit, he needs to leave, along with Darryl Hammond. These veterans are too … verteran-y. They can have their bright spots: they both were hilarious in the Anderson Cooper sketch.
Um… SNL in widescreen? I thought that was reserved for respected shows (ER) and crap (Crossing Jordan).
And, was anyone else perturbed by the lady conducting the red eye orchestra behind Kanye? It was kinda creepy, and laxidaisical at the same time.

Oh yeah: Although Horatio wasn’t great as an anchor, he was many times better than Colin Quinn. Horrors! Horrors!
