I just want to say Congratulations to Britney and Kevin. As a mother myself I know the joy you experience when you hold your child for the first time. I hope they are doing well. God Bless you and your new family Britney !! Love Leticia

Yep, that was the final sign we needed. The apocalypse is here.

    The poor baby!!!

  • cathy

i cannot be the only WOMAN in the world who is disgusted, and i mean disgusted, with a 22-year-old girl who blathers on and on about how much she longs for the awesome responsibility of motherhood and then schedules a c-section to deliver her baby because her mommy told her that “childbirth hurts really bad.” hopefully all that money will enable her to hire someone else who does possess the heart and spirit and internal fortitude to do all the other hard things that come with having a child. i am so sick of hearing about all this!!!

  • Liza

I am completely againts stars who hire nannies to raise their kids for them. But in this case, it would be the best thing ever for that baby.

  • MiMi

Cathy needs a life and to quit trying to bring negativity to the miracle of childbirth…sad , really
Congrat Brit!!You’ll be a great mommy!

  • nessa

So she had the baby – does that mean that Kevin has left her?

  • gloria

Poooooooor Baby. What a disgusting way for a child to start life. I can only pray for this poor child.

  • Justin

proof that no matter what beautiful event happens there will always be evil hearted haters
how can u people have something negative and mean to say about a beautiful baby being born
sad, evil, and lonely people u must be
    ——but enough with the negativity

  • mja

To Cathy.. You must really live a very sad existence to elicit this kind reaction from something that doesn’t even concern you. Why do you care how she delivered her baby. Women and their doctors make that choice everyday. Who are you to judge someone who chooses a c-section rather than a natural birth? Good for you if you chose the latter but having a c-section does not automatically mean you’re a bad mother. I feel bad for your children for having such a sad mother.

  • Stephanie

I personally don’t blame her for opting for a c-section. I was in labor for 36 hours before my doctor made the call to do a c-section. If I had it to do over again I would have chosen a c-section to begin with. I still love my son unconditionally and wouldn’t trade him for the world. Natural child birth just isn’t for everyone.

  • Tiff

Ok, everyone needs to stop picking on Cathy, chill out! First of all, the birth of any baby should be celebrated. In this case, no. Britney is too selfish a person to raise a normal child. If you actually listen to her when she speaks, you will understand. Second, I don’t think Cathy meant that having a c-section makes Britney or any other mother a bad person. If you read her comment, again, you will understand. She is saying that the reason she had the c-section was not only wrong but selfish. Because it hurts, come on now. That is not a good reason to have a c-section.

  • Jacob

Tiff, we know you are one else would defend that evil mean-spirited hag
and by the way, i have heard Britney in many interviews and she seems to be one of the most down to earth and nicest celebs out there so how would u know if she is selfish??
u need to get over your negativity!

  • djm

Hopefully she (Brit) will now display a sign of maturity and go away and raise her child out of the public eye. Her “reality” is so far removed from that of most of the general public I really would hate for her to start spouting off about motherhood and parenting (since other than maybe breast feeding – and only if that doesn’t “hurt” – I really doubt that she will be doing much on her own).

  • Tiff

Wow, so you are not educated or are very sheltered. “down to earth” Seriously? How down to earth is it to produce a reality show about how you and your trashy husband met, all along looking coked out.
I’m actually not Cathy. I was actually pissed after reading her comment. I was pissed that she said it first.
Now, simmer down and rewind your Britney Spears greatest hits album and have a go at it. Maybe you will relax and not get so upset over other peoples opinions. :)
