Michael Jackson's 'Heart'-felt Katrina response

93849__mija_lAdd Michael Jackson to the roster of musicians pitching in for Katrina relief. From his current hangout in Bahrain, he’s issued a statement saying that he plans to record and release an all-star benefit single, tentatively titled ”From the Bottom of My Heart,” on a label owned by Bahrain’s Prince Abdulla Hamad Alkhalifa, the unfortunately named 2 Seas Records. No word yet on who’ll be joining him at the ”We Are the World”-like recording session, which Jackson says will take place within the next two weeks. Let’s just hope this song doesn’t end up in limbo, like ”What More Can I Give,” the indefinitely stalled benefit all-star singalong Jackson recorded four years ago for 9/11 relief.

What do you mean by the comment about the record labels name? If you actually did some research you would know you silly ass American, that in English Bahrain means “2 Seas” One salt, one fresh.
Next time don’t be so critical, be accurate.

Michael Jackson is a very good person, and the greatest living artist, I think he’s very gentle, and that song for sure is gonna make us see more about how if you want, you can help heal the world.

  • Kelly

Michael jackson is gonna make this because he’s does what he feels, he is a giving person that’s for sure, and I hope people colud see it.

    • Nikki

Thankyou god for creating Michael Jackson the best singer who was ever discovered and who ever will be discovered

  • Vanessa

MJ is the most giving artist, and he´s a great musician, so the only thing I will do is collaborate by buying that single, we can all help.

Kevin: The name is still unfortunate, since the sea is part of the problem in New Orleans.
As for MJ’s charity single, I wonder how many copies will be sold. I think if it is released, it will have low sales in the US, even though it’s for a good cause.

MJ a good person? How easily we forget….
The only reason he is doing this is he is an opportunist that would even use a natural disaster and other people’s tragedy to put himself back on the map. The intelligent see right through this and hope that MJ will work on himself before using others to gain back his lost stardom.

  • Sherry

If MJ wants to show generosity why doesn’t he open Neverland to the homeless. He’s got the room for 1/2 New Orleans.

  • djm

MJ is a total opportunist. I wouldn’t support any project of his regardless of where the proceeds are going. It is like that saying about loving yourself before you are truly able to love others – he needs to focus on getting himself better and learn how to stop preying on children before focusing on helping others.

  • Robert

Why doesn’t Jackson just go away and hide somewhere. I guess the child molestation opportunities are better outside the US.

  • THE JOKER

Mike is a joke. All you people say he is a good person are either blind, deaf, or dumb. It could be a combination of all as well. Get it fixed. The guy molests children. HELLO?

  • dma

Oh, God. MJ needs to please go away! We don’t need another “We Are The World”-type song from him. This isn’t about helping the Gulf Coast. This is to save what’s left of his career. His “help” is not wanted nor needed.

  • Nate

MJ has always been extraordinarily compassionate to human suffering. There is no need to question it.
He is in the guiness book of records for his philanthropy for those that don’t find it genuine.

Maybe Jackson is doing this to help revive his career, but if it brings in $$$ for victims of Katrina…so what!

I hope Michael makes the song, and I hope it’s the biggest seller of all time. These people need help and we, that have a heart, are going to help them. He is innocent you pathetic people that do nothing but make fun and condemn, you should do as much as he has for mankind. You wouldn’t have so much time on you hands and I have my own ideas about people that want to believe the worst in people, look in the mirror.
