Movie-quote ringtones: 'Say hello to my leetle phone'

Categories: Film

Now you can get Al Pacino or Robert De Niro to alert you to your incoming cellphone calls. According to the Los Angeles Times, the next big frontier in ringtones is snippets of movie dialogue. Which leads to the question: If you could pick any soundbite from all of movie history to serve as a ringtone, what would you choose? Bear in mind, you’ll have to live with it for a long time, so a line like ”Hold me like you did by the lake on Naboo” will probably get annoying pretty fast. Me, I need a ringtone that’s loud, so I’ll pick William Shatner’s immortal line from Star Trek II: ”KHAAAAAAAAN!!!”

    My ringtone would definately be:
“Hello. My name is Indigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die.”
Of course if my father calls there will need to be some serious explaining…

Just when you thought ringtones couldn’t get any more annoying…

Funny stuff that “Hold me…blah blah.” Could you imagine…every time the phone rang? Yeesh. I might go with something from Road House. “You’re too stupid to have fun.” or “Soylent Green is PEOPLE!”
