Attention, O.C. viewers, college students, and other manic-depressives: Death Cab for Cutie’s new CD, Plans, isn’t in stores for another week, but you can stream the entire record now at mtvU. The band’s follow-up to its 2003 breakthrough Transatlanticism, it’s a collection of gorgeous ballads about loss, sorrow, and death. After listening to it, I wasn’t sure whether to grab a double espresso, pick some flowers, or open a vein. Check it out.
