Fans of John O’Hurley (right, with partner Charlotte Jorgensen) who thought he wuz robbed (and fans of Kelly Monaco, left, with partner Alec Mazo, who thought he wasn’t) will get to test their theories when the General Hospital star defends her title in a 90-minute Dancing with the Stars rematch on Sept. 20. This time, only viewers will decide (judges will comment but not vote); poll results will be announced two days later on another half-hour special. Kudos to ABC for figuring out how to turn a controversy into an opportunity. Though I hope Fox doesn’t follow suit by bringing Corey back to sing for Paula.

What’s stupid is that what made her win the first time was her “fans” calling a billion times and keeping her in the competition to begin with. What makes anyone think this time will be different? Unless ABC changes the voting process and allows only one call per house the results will be the same.
Funny thing is, they only let you vote 5x per household, so Kelly’s fan’s can’t call a billion times.
How many times can they vote online?
That o’hurley and I love seinfield is a sore loser . Sorry but I saw the competition and she outdanced him .And I didn’t even know who she was . And I have never seen her act before . It was her performance. Ohh and what a million dollar price ( the trophy) he’s crying about ,and what kind of dignity he has . I don’t have anything against any one of them, but he seems like a sore loser, that’s all.
This is the stupidest idea I have ever heard of! It’s just an excuse to get ratings. It’s a given that John O’Hurley will win no matter what, because people will automatically vote for him because he lost the first time around. Kelly won fair and square. Though John had been a favorite throughout, Kelly pulled out her best performance when it really mattered. She deserved that HUGE prize (ok, it was a crappy trophy…ABC sure did make a lot of money with this show!) This just sounds like a bad idea to me. But at least we get to see Kelly looking really hot in her skimpy outfits one last time! That makes us all winners!
