What's weirder? (Crossover Edition)

What’s weirder?

A) Quentin Tarantino hoping to put together a limited-run series where he writes and directs every episode?
B) Green Day saying the new video it’s filming for ”Jesus of Suburbia” could be a prequel to a possible movie project?
C) Tenacious D’s Kyle Gass planning to star in a Broadway musical (scroll down) based on ’80s power ballads by Bon Jovi, Journey, and REO Speedwagon, among others?

I certainly can’t pick the ”Jesus of Suburbia” project. Heck, if R. Kelly gets to build a 12-part urban opera on one of the world’s sorriest tunes, why shouldn’t Green Day be allowed to branch out? As for Tarantino, his ”Grave Danger” season finale of CSI was so good, he’s welcome back to the small-screen in whatever capacity he chooses (except maybe guest-starring on Alias). That leaves me with Gass’ musical. The Great White Way’s already being overrun with shows based on hits by everyone from Abba to the Bee Gees to the Beach Boys. Enough already! How’s a young show-tune composer supposed to make a living?
