C) Or New York’s Daily News shaming Kelly Clarkson for ”muffin top” fashion violations?
I can handle the Underwood news; if we’re being honest, KitKat’s ”Gimme a break” theme is lyrically and melodically superior to ”Inside Your Heaven.” And frankly, running and staffing a charity costs money, so let’s cut Clay some slack. But the Clarkson kerfuffle? I’ve gotta ask the Daily News, do the women, heck, the people, of America need this kind of reporting? If the totally svelte Clarkson can’t live up to your exacting Body Mass Index standards, then why the heck haven’t I caved to the bag of Combos that appeared in our office vending machine this afternoon? Sheesh!

I don’t get it- what’s wrong with how she looks? (I mean, unless someone’s taking issue with Kelly Clarkson pretending to be all hard-core rocker; then I’m totally down with it.) But seriously, I’m as catty as the next chick with an inferiority complex, but aside from the armbands and the eyeshadow she really does not look at all bad in that picture.
kelly looks like crap.. i think she’s been shopping at ’skanks ‘r’ us’ or else her stylist hates her.
Actually, the point of the article, if you read it through, is that “muffin top” can appear on *anyone* if they wear clothes that are the wrong size. It didn’t suggest Clarkson was overweight, but that she (and others) squeeze into trousers that are way too tight causing an unsightly role over the top of the trousers. That said, it was a pretty silly article, guess it was a slow news day …
There is absolutley nothing wrong w/the way Kelly dresses. It’s about time somebody is in the spotlight who isn’t all skin & bones. She looks a heck of a lot better than Lindsay Lohan.
I think Kelly is hot and I like how she dresses. Yes, she is not a size 2 and she doesn’t throw up all her food like Lindsay Lohan and the Olsen Twins. She is a real Woman and she looks good. I like tight clothes on girls that have a figure and Kelly has a nice figure. I agree it is unsightly when overweight people are spilling out of their clothes, but Kelly is far from being overweight.
Kelly Clarkson is effin’ hot. Enough said. Haters can go crawl back into their hole.

Kelly Clarkson doesn’t squeeze herself into anything. the picture may have been taken at the wrong moment and be misleading you but if you knew, or had met, or seen Kelly in person you would know that the clothes almost float off of her. She is tiny.
Whatever this article was implying, I find it irrelevant. there is absolutely nothing wrong with the clothes Clarkson wears. I’d be much more disconcerted about what Aiken does with his freakin foundation than the clothes a young woman who just happens to have a butt wears.

Now look at a picture of Paula Abdul with her cleavage popping out of her dress and I’ll agree with the coined phrase. But not on Kelly Clarkson. She’s got her own style and it’s one that is far from skanky.

I’m not a fan of anything that’s related to American Idol, but I have to say I am digging Kelly Clarkson’s new material. I don’t know anything about her though. I like that picture above, if that says anything. I almost find it an insult to her that she is put in the same bag as Underwood and Aiken. That’s like comparing a 5-course meal with frozen dinners and a sandwich.
The only problem I have with Kelly’s look is that she’s showing off way too much skin. There are girls out there of every shape and size and if some people haven’t gotten that idea thru their thick skull yet than thats their problem not Kelly’s or anyone elses. Anyone can look bad if they are trying too hard to seem sexy.
If you take a look around the music industry, Kelly is one of the most normal looking girls there is. Aguilera shows too much skin. Spears shows too much skin. Kelly Clarkson barely shows her midriff for crying out loud. You people just make me laugh.
clay weirds me out for some reason. and his songs bore me. carrie, i’m pretty sure i won’t be buying her album bec i don’t listen to country music. but she seems nice. i’m not a pop music fan either but kelly has got me singing her songs at the top of my lungs while driving and filling my ipod w/ the songs from her 2nd album. honestly, she has proven herself to be a credible artist and a great result of reality tv (which mostly has bad results) so i wouldn’t categorize her with the other idols.

Kelly Clarkson is a very cute girl with beautiful eyes. I believe most of these posts are from jealous girls or guys that can’t have her.
This is the reason why so many young women have eating disorders. The average woman is not a bag of bones! A flat body is not attractive. Kelly Clarkson is beautiful just the way she is. I hope she doesn’t start going on these stupid diets that leaves one with vitamin deficency.
