Far be it from me to question RuPaul’s knowledge of wigs, but…
On her always entertaining blog, the drag diva offers up some hair-raising opinions about Nicole Kidman’s ‘do — and her latest flick, Bewitched.
”Kidman never wears her own hair when she appears on film,” Ru claims. ”She always wears the finest human hair lace-front wigsmoney can buy. The pieces are always flawless, and my guess is thatRenata of Burbank is responsible for them. Too bad, then, that Renatadidn’t also write and direct Ms. Kidman’s latest film.” Ooh, suh-NAP!
”That’s absolutely crazy and complete wack,” says Carrie Gordon, Kidman’s publicist, who wasn’t about to let Ru spin such a yarn without comment. Gordon added that Kidman’s own locks have graced the silver screen on many an occasion.
Before there’s a rumble outside the girls’ room, let’s settle this fight. Which leggy stunner is working the fiercer coif in the accompanying photos? Ru? Or Nic? Or is it too close to call?

Plushpuppy… RuPaul was not giving opinions, she was stating false facts a.k.a. lies about Nicole’s hair/wigs. Would you like it if I accused you of waring wigs?

The love affair between Zach Braff and Mandy Moore seems to be over. He was flirting all over New York City (Level V, Marquee, Cain) with every woman in sight.
In response to the pic question, Ru’s hair is fierce in that picture! and Nicole’s looks like she ran out of time. If you’re going on the red carpet, at least get rid of the frizzies, and have a real hair do. As far as the wigs go, who cares? Wearing wigs and extensions and weaves is de rigeur in Hollywood, and it saves actresses’ and models’ hair from the perils of constant styling. And I trust RuPaul’s opinion, a drag queen can spot hair pieces a mile away.

Johnny, your homophobia and stupidity is overwhelming.
It’s common for actresses to wear wigs or extentions. Not only because it saves time in the make-up trailer but also because it saves an actresses’s hair from wear and tear. I mean, Bette Midler wore wigs all through BEACHES according to director Garry Marshall in his autobiography. And Halle Berry wears extensions often on film.
Sounds to me like RU has her panties…………ah I mean, his boxers in a bunch…………..
I’m a hairstylist and I’ve been know to obsess over these things! I know Ms. Kidman wore some of the finest wigs I’ve ever seen in “The Moulin Rouge” (at least 3 wigs I think), and I have a feeling she does this in many of her movies. If a movie director’s budget is such that he/she can afford Nicole Kidman, then they can certainly afford the best wardrobing in the business and make thier actresses look the part without having to deal with thier natural hair. But I also have a feeling that Ms. Kidman’s real hair has been featured in lots of her movies, as her publicist states. So whats the big freakin deal? Are we passing judgement on people because they wear wigs? Ru Paul obviously isn’t like that… So kids, we seem to have a bored journalist, an observant drag queen, and a defensive publicist on our hands here.
My opinion is that in this picture of Ru, she just happens to look remarkably like a twisted version of a Barbie doll…fake and plastic. Nicole looks real. For those of the population who have curly hair and not nessesarily the best hair products in the world…this happens to be very close to what our hair would probably look like. There’s nothing wrong with it at all, it’s simply human. As for the issue on wigs, it honestly doesn’t matter. Nicole is only trying to protect her hair while she still has the chance to do it. Who knows? Maybe she’s an environmentalist and cares more about the planet that more than 6 billion people live and depend on than how stiff her hair looks.

I think Ru is right because Nicole had tight, red curly hair. Now she’s always blond and straight-haired. She would probably be doing a lot of damage to hair without a wig.
I forgot to say, so many women in Hollywood in the past and now have worn extensions or wigs. It’s pretty commonplace there.
