Never let it be said that PopWatch doesn’t give back to the celebrities we obsessively cover. Back on June 15, we posted a ‘’situation wanted” ad for Destiny’s Child member Michelle Williams, and less than three weeks later, she’s got herself a new gig (scroll down) at The Gap. (Please, no sweater-folding jokes, thank you) According to the New York Daily News, Williams is set to follow in the sizable shoes of Madonna, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Joss Stone, as the new face (and voice) of the clothing retailer. To paraphrase our favorite line from Michelle’s DC3 days: Her vibe is too vibe-a-licious for us, babe.

I am THRILLED that Michelle Williams is the new gap girl! I have to admit..that she is my FAVORITE DC member! I am GLAD that she is FINALLY getting her turn in the SPOTLIGHT instead of Beyonce!
I must say I am very proud of my girl Michelle…she deserves everything that she gets…peeps fail to realize that she works just as hard as teh other to only to be looked at as if shes not good enough….but I gues you got fall into the GAP!
I think Michelle is one of the wackest member of the group. Her inability to be true to her gospel music proves to me that she is not sincere. She fakes the funk. One day she is talking about pursuing gospel and the next day you see her shaking her booty (that is not bootylicious by the way)
